One Idea I thought would be good is Community Craft & Yard Sale!

We could find somewhere that is on a main street to donate there parking lot! Then we would charge people a fee for a "Space". Each space would be a parking space. They would come and set up there yard sale items, crafts, or bsiness table (for Pampered Chef reps etc).

We would advertise in the paper, on craigslist, and by flyers posted around!

We could also do a food sale. Baked goods, soda, water whatever to raise $ while there also!

What do you guys think? Any ideas on where we could maybe get a parking lot donated??

I remember Heather had a yard sale for the group at her house in Scottsburg. As far as a donated spot, maybe try a business that is closed on Saturday. I know Crickets in Sellersburg is closed on the weekends. That's in a good spot. Or what about the Value City parking lot in Clarksville?

I am thinking if we do it somewhere more central we may get more poeple to get a space. I know some of the moms didit want to take stuff that far. I will contact crickets and see!

What do you think for a fee? Maybe $15 for non members and $5 or $10 for members?

Beth Crikets cafe is open on Saturdays until 2 so that wont work.

I am thinking May 22nd or June12th. What do you guys think?

I was thinking if we could get Northside Christian on Charlestown RD in New ALbany to donate there parking lot that would be PERFECT!!
